Sozopol is the oldest city on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, founded in 610. BC. The glorious 26-century history of the city is well felt in its unique character. Once a year, during the traditional Apollonia art festivals, Sozopol turns into a magical place with an exciting creative atmosphere. Bulgarian and foreign artists take part in the festival.
